My names Ellie and I'm a coder geek. I'm not sure that's a particularly good qualification for public speaking but James has been kind enough to invite me to present on the 8th about something code related and I'd like to get an idea as to which topics I feel competent to discuss at short notice you guys would find interesting.

Things I sort of know about include: Ruby; Google Go; SQLite; DNS NAPTR RRs; virtual machines; concurrency; hybrid key crypto.

Of these Ruby is my great passion, but Go's what I'm mostly working with at the moment.
